Weavers Way Homesteading Workshop: DIY Herbal Infusions

Wednesday, May 24, 2017 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

The medicinal qualities of plants can be extracted for health and wellness, healing and nourishment — and you can learn how! In this 90-minute interactive class, Geraldine Lavin, an herbalist, gardener, teacher, and intuitive artist from Philadelphia, will discuss the five major solvents used to extract the unique properties of medicinal plants, when each is appropriate to use and when to combine them. Participants will leave with their own infusion and a booklet about herbal infusions.

$15 suggested donation. REGISTER HERE.

Geraldine was the market manager for Mill Creek Farm and the lead greenhouse technician for the University of Pennsylvania Biology Department’s greenhouses and botanical garden.
