Employment Opportunities at Weavers Way

Staff positions
Weavers Way has a wide variety of positions in departments ranging from prepared foods (deli), grocery, produce, cashier, floral, health and beauty aids, to outreach, shift management and clean-up. Typically, staff work various shifts during the week on a regular basis, and often in more than one department.

 We accept applications for all positions. Applications are available at the cash registers, or you can e-mail a description of your relevant employment history, skills and references. We will contact applicants as needed.

Candidates with enthusiasm for food and sustainability will have an advantage, as will those with a passion for our community. The ideal candidates will be flexible in their willingness to perform a variety of duties. We're open seven days a week, so the ability to work evenings and weekends is essential. Previous grocery store experience is a big plus but not a requirement. Excellent customer service is a must.

Paid co-operators It often happens that we have open work slots on our calendar and we pay members by the hour to help us cover these shifts. These shifts are 2 hours each, and are usually scheduled the day before they are posted. Applications and guidelines are available at the registers.
