Weavers Way Wellness Workshop: Imagery 101 for Enhanced Well Being at Work, Rest & Play

Thursday, March 1, 2018 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Learn about exciting advances in brain research and uses of imagery for pain and symptom relief, improved rest, and physical activity such as walking, balance and coordination. Discover the sensory channels that go beyond the classic five senses. Get curious and have fun identifying your primary sensory dial through simple imaginal exercises that engage different sensory experiences.

Dr. Elanah Naftali is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist who actively weaves imagery into her practice to help clients experience improved ease in their bodies. This work is especially helpful to individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, sexual dysfunction or recovering from a trauma. (See FeelingEase.com for more information.)

FREE, REGISTRATION REQUIRED. REGISTER HERE.

This panel is organized by The Weavers Way Health & Wellness Committee. The WWHWC is dedicated to exploring and educating the co-op community on a wide variety of health resources and modalities. The committee includes, but is not limited to, professional practitioners of both conventional and natural or alternative disciplines, and welcomes anyone interested in physical, mental, spiritual and collective well-being.

Weavers Way workshops include presentations, hands-on classes, book studies, film screenings and discussions. Most are free and open to the public. Weavers Way members who lead workshops get three hours of work credit — what a great way to earn, or maintain, your Working Member status for 5% off all your purchases!
