Weavers Way Wellness: Holistic Perspectives on Mental Health

Sunday, April 15, 2018 - 3:30pm to 5:00pm

Come to an interactive afternoon with the Weavers Way Health and Wellness Committee to learn about the significance of a holistic perspective to “mental” health symptoms. Moderated by nutritionist Jennifer Hall, the panelists include Jodi Schwartz-Levy, Ph.D., Elanah Naftali, LMFT, and Marvin Berman, Ph.D.

Jodi Schwartz-Levy is a somatic (body-oriented) psychologist and owner of Healing Arts Studio in Chestnut Hill. Her private practice is strongly rooted in supporting individuals to work with blocked emotional energy that is stored in the body. Elanah Naftali, LMFT, is a holistic marriage and family psychotherapist specializing in working with trauma. She has a background in nutrition and chaplaincy and is dedicated to the intersection between public health, complementary medicine and accessibility. Marvin Berman, Ph.D., is president of Quietmind Foundation and Associates, applied neuroscience research program director, clinical neuropsychophysiologist and biofeedback therapist. He studies and promotes the integration of noninvasive, nondrug treatment options for people with neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative conditions into public health and education.
