Weavers Way Sustainability Workshop: Working Towards a Zero Waste Home & Garden

Tuesday, October 3, 2017 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Take a look at the trash cans in your home. What's in there? Would you like to cut down on the waste you produce and lean a little lighter on the planet? (It will probably even save you money!)

Join us for an informative evening with Alisa Shargorodsky, Weavers Way’s very own Zero Waste consultant. After taking an in-depth look at the larger global context of our waste systems, participants will receive a number of DIY body care recipes, tricks to the “zero waste grocery shopping experience” plus much more. Alisa will get you excited about zero-waste living and help you rework your shopping habits, reducing the amount of clutter and excessive packaging or goods you bring into your home in the first place. You will walk away prepared to avoid unnecessary waste production in your home and garden.
