We're teaming up once again with Awbury Arboretum! Join us for an amazing dinner prepared by Weavers Way Executive Chef Bonnie Shuman in the beautiful setting of the historic Cope House.

This dinner celebrates the culmination of a year's worth of Arboretum special events featuring the Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers. (Did you know that the Arboretum is home to the Guild's garden for natural dyes?)

Tonight, Awbury brings together two sets of "Weavers" — the Co-op and the Guild — for a four-course prix fixe BYO dinner celebration!

Join us for hot cider cocktails and mocktails at 5 p.m. At 5:30, take in the rich and fascinating history of the Fabric Mills of Northwest Philly, with Guild member and guest speaker Barbara Parman.  The presentation will overlap with the start of the following menu:

Amuse Bouche:
Crostinis with ricotta, roasted butternut squash, and tamari pumpkin seeds

Salad:
Gem lettuces with radishes, celery, slivered almonds, tarragon vinaigrette

Mains:
Halibut with braised leeks and crispy shiitake mushrooms, parmesan risotto cake, roasted carrots

Polenta with crispy shiitake mushrooms and roasted tomatoes and carrots

Dessert
Red wine and cinnamon poached pear with vanilla ice cream
